We didn't do much because our air conditioning unit decided to completely freeze up on us so we had to turn it off...creating an even bigger mess...a lake in our basement. So we spent part of the night getting rid of the water and then we went out to eat at the Roadhouse. The Roadhouse is kind of similar to Outback except you get to throw all your peanut shells on the floor
After we ate we had to go over to my hubby's parents house because their basement flooded a couple of weeks ago. We had to help them move all of their furniture back down the basement because they finally got their new carpet. (Their family room was down there!)
After that we went to Home Depot (every girls dream store) so we could buy a new filter for our shop vac (which we were using to suck up all the water in our)
And then we came home and I watched Sorority Life on MTV...when the show was over I looked over at my husband and he was passed out.
I wouldn't say that we had a real exciting evening.
Tonight we are taking his 6 year old cousin to see a movie and to get an ice cream because she is leaving to go home to North Carolina in a couple of days. Maybe we'll get to spend some time together this weekend...if he doesn't have to work!
