Unhappy Email Pet Peeves...Except for Scams..

Argg!! What makes you want to scream about emails that you send or get? Spams don't count..we all hate those..okay, MOST OF US.

My #1 is when I really, really need an question answered, advice or whatever and the person(s) never responds.

I don't care if the answer is Okay, Whatever or Do Not Ever Use My Email Again!!! At least I know you got it.

My PEEVE is when I get a forward with 89 GAZILLION headers and the forward is a one line corny azz joke.

MY PEEVE is to get the same forward like 10 times in one day.

Email and listserve is the downfall of chapter communication! A good old fashioned phone call would do.

I hate when I accidently delete an outgoing e-mail. On AOL you cannot retrieve deleted outgoing e-mails, only deleted incoming e-mails. I also have MSN and on MSN when you are sending an e-mail, you have to check the option of "put copy into my outgoing mail folder." Because I never do this on AOL, I am used to never doing it, so when I send e-mail from my MSN account, I FORGET AND DON'T EVER HAVE A LIST OF OUTGOING E-MAIL!!!!!!!!!

snopes.com - it is your friend!

I hate getting forwarded the emails of the missing/cancer-ridden child where if I don't forward I don't have a heart, or the free gift certificate, from people who are supposedly intelligent (bachelor's/master's degrees) and supposedly my friends.

PLEASE, if you get anything like this, go to the above named site and check it out. If it's a hoax - which 9 times out of 10, it is- reply to all the other poor saps who got stuck with it and let them know, so it can stop there. This is the kind of garbage that makes me nuts.

Forwards. Unless its something I have asked you to forward, or is vitally important, do not send it to me. I especially hate it when people I've worked with on group projects send me stuff like "look at this cute monkey picture." That pisses me off. Also, if you're not going to email me to actually "talk" to me, dont' send me your dumb ass forwards.

Did someone say e-mail forwards????

I absolutely despise these!!!!I can't filter them out of my e-mail because I get important e-mails from one of the organizations I'm in.I'm tired of getting forwards like:

send this e-mail hug to 10 of your friends if you really value your friendship

fold a $20 bill so many ways to see The Pentagon burnt up and The Twin Towers burnt to the ground

send this e-mail to 10 of your friends if you love Jesus

this is a funny picture(forwarded 80 times)

AOL bugs me...I hate it when someone that uses AOL replies to me and AOL doesn't have the thing where it copies your email, so they respond and you have no idea what to
Example: You email to ask a question and they respond, "Yes"

Yes to what??????

Oh, I know what you mean! Especially if you e-mailed them a week ago asking them a question. If you've deleted the e-mail in your outgoing mail box then you are out of luck, unless you ask the person what they were responding about.

I really hate when I get a subject line that says " hey remember me?" or "How's it been?" and it's a link to a porn site when you open up the mail. I feel like this when I open them:

Me too! Sometimes I can't even find out what the original message was, because of all the names and e-mail addresses.

Hold up! I know ya'll didn't forget Blackplanet! First you can't get on their site w/o four or five pop-up screens. Then the only emails you ever get are more ads. WTF!
