Costume for Costume Party
My roommates and I are havign a costume party at our house for Halloween in a couple weeks and I need suggestions for costumes.. I'll post my whole list of suggestions tomorrow (I'm on my way to bed), but the most popular I've gotten so far are SpongeBob, a pack of marlboros (??? I don't know, but I do actually think it'd be funny), Monica Lewinsky, Rainbow Bright, Piglet, and Mimi from Drew Carey.... Thoughts? Suggestions?

A few years ago, my husband and I went to a costume party as the Men in Black (ok, A Man and A Woman in Black, whatever ). This one's easy - you just wear a black suit, black shirt, and sunglasses. I also got one of those little keychain lights and put a red bulb in it. People might not get it, though, unless you can recruit a partner.
"The Avengers" movie had recently come out (which sucked - I'm sorry, there's only one Mrs. Peel, and that's Diana Rigg, but that's a rant for another day ). Another couple came to the costume party dressed as Mr. Steed and Mrs. Peel. Suit, bowler hat, and rolled umbrella for him; catsuit for her. But I think people only got that because the movie had just come out.

The Hershey's kiss is a cute idea....
The black eyed Pea is hilarious!!!!! I'm all about cute/funny costumes like that...LOL For example, one of my friends might dress up in all black and just make up his hand with like a cast and a spiked bracelet and a ring...and be Dr. Claw from inspector gadget!!! LOL
Thanks for the idea, keep em coming!

I was Monica Lewinski a few years ago and it turned out to be a GREAt costume
Another great one I saw, and this might be fishing back a ways, is to be Mary, from Theres Something About Mary, you know the hair gel scene LOL
One idea I have for this year is to be something tacky, I haven't had a "fun" costume in a while, one of my friends suggested a she devil, he seems to think it fits my personality. A few of the girls at the house have also suggested an angel.
Have fun with whatever you decide to dress up as

She Devil is one a lot of people suggested for me (around here).. Also, Grim Reaper, the Scream mask, and a fallen angel.. Seems as though I seem deathly to people??

The Whole List
As promised, now that I'm not on my way to bed, here is the complete list of suggestions I've gotten so far:
Gumball Machine (complex, but would be cute)
Salt & Pepper (my best friend would be salt)
Romeo & Juliet (friend would be romeo)
Monica Lewinsky
Fallen Angel
Punk Rock Kid
Raggedy Anne & Andy (w/ best friend..)
SpongeBob
Pack of Marlboros
Mimi (From Drew Carey)
Dr. (I already have scrubs)
Woodstock (the birdy from Snoopy)
Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland
Rainbow Bright
Punky Brewster
Piglet
Betty Boop
and She Devil
Those don't include what are being suggested here But now you know what I'm already looking at ... if you have anything cuter/funnier to suggest, please do, otherwise...which do you like from that list?

i work at a fabric store and the most popular female costume has been Tinkerbell. Find a green sparkly material or dress and cut the bottom and buy wings

I want a costume that is sort of cute and sexy, but original (read... no devil, french maid, nurse, etc). Any ideas?
I want it to be really cool b/c I may be in Vegas and you know it will be out-of-control there!

I was actually lobbying towards Punky Brewster, but I found out that one of my roommates is going to be that...but that's ok because she totally looks like her and she has the dog and everything, so yeah....Maybe I could be Cherry? LOL

I've always wanted to go as Marilyn Monroe but haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Last year I found the perfect dress but I wasn't blonde enough. This year, my hair is too short and I am no longer blonde enough.
If you're too skinny to pull off Marilyn, there's always the whole Audrey Hepburn thing -- as in Breakfast at Tiffany's. You could even carry around a cat.
