I am sorry for the morbid subject matter--
My parents had to put our dog Bear to sleep on Wednesday.
She was 13, but I didn't even think she was old enough for this. The vet said her heart and other internal organs were enlarged and it wasn't going to get any better, plain old old age.
It was so sudden, which is why I think I am having such a hard time with it. She maintained the vigor of a puppy until about a week before this.
i am so sad that I'm never going to get to play w her, hug her, kiss her, tell her how much I love her again!
