I am only 5'1 and I have a muscular body but I feel I could lose about ten pounds to be at that nice flat tummy/ smaller butt body. I have always been a freak about my weight ever since I was 7. I always try to watch what I eat and I am a dancer so I get my workout throught that but it doesn't seem to be enough. I guess you could say I am unhappy with my weight. But I am trying to fix that the healthy way. I am not fat or over weight but I just want to have a really great smaller body!

I'm petite...only 5'2 1/2. Guys seem to think it's cute, but sometimes I just wish I was at least 5'6! Like, I just got back my graduation pics and, next to my 6 feet tall, muscular guy friends, I feel so little!

And it's such a pain finding pants short enough! Gap and Express is good for that, but still...

I also wish I wasn't so thin. I eat a LOT but still I'm pretty thin! In the past few years I started lifting weights though so at least I'm toned .

I'm not petite in height but I am in weight. I'm "5'7" and 118. I've actually spent most of my life trying to gain weight!!! I still actually am trying to gain some weight. Another 10 pounds would be nice.

Yeah a thread for us

I've been 5'2 for a long time. I'm cool with my height. Sometimes buying clothes is a pain. Most of the designers seem to think that every women is 5'6. These are the only times I wish I were a little taller so I could just go in a store and buy off the rack.

When I did overnight stock at Target, I use to hate it that all the short people had get climb the ladders and stock stuff on the really high shelves. That sucked big time

Thanks for the thread! I'm only 5'1. I'm very happy
with my weight. I could lose 5-10 pounds on my bu-thigh
area, but it's o.k. If I can just tighten that area up I would
be more than satisfied.

I'm pretty comfortable with my height, but I can't help
but wish I were taller sometimes. I'm 25 and I'm at the point where being called "cute" has become almost insulting (I don't mean to sound snotty). Also, sometimes I don't feel as though people take me as seriously as I would like them to, at given times. To me, it's directly related to the "cute" thing. I feel that people associate short with being young (well, da, right?) and therefore treat you as though you are young/younger than you are. I'm not trying to turn this into a pity party. It has just been my experience, mostly in my place of work.

Thanks for listening to me rant and rave.

And about the clothes thing...
Don't get me started. Don't EVEN get me started!

Holla, 5'2 in the house! Ive always been short and actually so have most of my friends. Thats the one things I liked about UM, your average girl was about 5'3 1/2 and the guys were even kind of short (but really fine).
I'm pretty content, but like UDZeta, I am muscular and feel I could lose a little still. Most of my weight is in muscle and those damn "twins" of mine. But the key is to work what you have and love it

Clothes..sheesh, if its not too long, its too short after you wash it

3 inch platforms do wonders also

OK, I let all of you down.

Most of the girls I dated were about 5'2" and a hundred pounds. They just seemed to fit well under my arm when we walked. I just really seemed to be attracted to that sized woman.

Then I married my wife -- who is 5'7".

Sorry, but I still think 5'2" is a great "size."

I am petite as well. I a 5'2'', well actually its weird but sometimes i am 5'1'' 3/4 so.... i just like to round UP

I have always been shorter than all my friends, except this one girl i was friends with was about an inch or two shorter than me. I always felt so tall around her! MY best friend however, is like 5'6'' so it was weird at first when we would walk down the hall or something, but im used to it by now. Some of my friends would even call me "little missy:

I am 5'4" with shoes on at the doctor...I don't know if that qualifies me for petite in the height category. I am thin too. That combo has gotten me in trouble in the past few years teaching music lessons at local schools. I have, more than once, been asked why I am in the office using the copy machine, or "Sweetie, what teacher are you running an errand for"...once, a teacher that didn't know me wouldn't let me into the building in the morning because the 5 minute bell had not rung yet!
