financial aid
Over the past months, I've been flirting with the idea of transferring to Ohio University so I could be closer to home. I like the school I go to, but I don't love it, and I find myself not really wanting to go back. The more I thought of transferring the more I liked the idea. Well I got my financial aid package in the mail, and I'm covered for tutuion, but most of it is in a parent loan. My mom REFUSES to take the loan and has informed me that she can only afford $2,000 towards tution since my brother is going to college next year. I'm so disappointed that I'm probably going to be forced to go to an out of state college because its cheaper! I've already written the financial aid office at OU to see if there was any possibility of getting more student loans, but I doubt they'll help me. Do any of you have any advice on anything I could do to help the situation or am I just stuck?
