greek awards!!!

just wanted to brag about my chapter a little...
we were awarded the following "greek" awards wednesday night:

philanthropic/service- chapter of the year
sisterhood- chapter of the year
social- honorable mention
and one other honorable mention
AND...we are greek week 2002 champs!!!
yeah to my gamma pi's i am so proud of us!!!
(sorry i'll stop bragging now)
did any other chapters out there win any awards?

I put last years too, because we won more awards than any other organization, and we have only been at Dominguez Hills for a lil more than a year!
(just had to give us some kudos!)

We tore it up this year in awards. Our chapter almost doubled from 29 to 49!
We won:
*Greek Week Spring
*Greek Week Fall
*Rites of Spring
*The Watermelon Bust
*Watermelon Bust Queen
*Membership and Development Award
*Greek Woman of the Year
*ATO Sweetheart
*Pike Sweetheart
*Outstanding Leader
*Outstanding Junior
*Recruitment Award

And individually our girls kicked butt in their other organizations. I am a freshman and I got to be a Homecoming Candidate, nominated for Freshman of the Year, won Most outsanding New Member-APB, Most Involved-APB, Best New Chair-APB, a $500 scholarship, FSLC appreciation, Lead NKU award, Spirit Award, and I won an summer intern scholarship for Proctor and Gamble! But enough bragging, I'm just really proud of all of our girls!
