The Hawaii Alumnae Chapter (and any collegians still on island) volunteer at the Contemporary Museum Artspree every July. It's their annual Open House event with crafts, games, and entertainment for families (mainly catering to kids.) We help the artists, serve refreshments, and play security for the gift shop (don't touch!) Lots of fun!
The Junior Circle has some pau hana and movie night type things planned for each month. I guess our group has the most on its calendar for the summer.

Speaking of ArtSpree, Mai, I've already signed up to work at the Kalakaua Plaze with Jan. Vicki caught me at home yesterday! I can't wait. This'll totally be different from the last time you and I worked at ArtSpree together (does paper mache ring a bell?)

For those wondering what "pau hana" means, it translates into "finished with work" in Hawaiian. You know where some of us head to!!
Our Junior Circle chair is also hooking us up with prime seats for the big 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Schofield Barracks. That should be fun!!!
The best event going on this summer by far has to be my big birthday celebration (which will take place the weekend of August 4th).
