Missing Sisters

OK, so I have a little problem with my chapter right now. As a senior, I understand that sometimes you get busy with graduation preparations and work, as well as tough capstone courses, etc.

What I don't understand is the total disrespect by younger members that choose not to be active and involved. I am super busy with all of my activities, but I still find time for chapter and other Phi Mu functions. It's really discouraging because I honestly know that we are the BEST chapter on campus and could be even better.

Phi Mu is supposed to be for a lifetime, but some sisters act like they don't even care. If they were seniors taking 18 hours and working, I would understand, but these girls are like sophmores. They find time to go out with each other and all of us, but they never participate in scheduled activities.

Do any of ya'll have any experience with sisters like this? How do you keep girls active without being pushy? I might note that our advisor is totally MIA until she wants to be around, so we run our chapter on our own 99.9% of the time.

Phi Mu Love,
VSUPhiMu
