Chapter Consultants
Has anyone met any of the Chapter Consultants? I've met four of the once five there are this year... Two of them visited us for fall rush last semester, Caralee and Stacy and you wouldn't believe what I found out. Me and Stacy started talking and were shocked to eventually find out that we were related! We are 2nd cousins! Talk about a coincidence!!

Welcome to the board AOIIForever
I haven't met any of this year's consultants, but several from the mid 90's were from my chapter. I think that it's so cool that you found out that one was your second cousin.

I thought that Nadia was just the greatest. She got here right before Recruitment started and the only thing she was told was that we had just lost a member to death the last semester, and that this recruitment could be really emotional plus we were struggling. I remember her giving us her final talk and just bawling with all of us. Plus she was here for Sept. 11th. Talk about sharing a bond. So much stuff in such a lil time.

AOcutiePi--by chance are you at Kappa Omega? If so, do you have a current website online anywhere? I love your chapter, our pledge retreat was held at your house (this was back in 1983 though <G>). I spent a few years camping outside the Kappa Omega house waiting to get into Midnight Madness.

Actually I'm Tau Omega. The sisters of Kappa Omega were here for us greatly in our time of need though. We have now set up the Adrienne Dantin Memorial Fund to help those who couldn't normally pay for going Greek. We haven't exactly decided on everything about how it will work as we've just been trying to raise the money to get it put in a fund so it could gain interest. That way it will not run out. I'm sure the sisters of Kappa Omega would be extremely exicted to hear your praise though. Thanks.

Kappa Omega
If you want to look and see if they have their website up and running you can go to http://www.uky.edu. Then search for Greek Affairs then click on fraternities and sororities and it will give you the links to all the pages.

Thanks for the link, but Kappa Omega's last update was at least 2-3 years ago :-(
Looks like Tau Omega has been very busy though (I check your site every once in a while as well!) What a wonderful inspiration for a Greek scholarship fund, what kind of fundraising events do you do to raise funds for it?

Christin

Dance of the Decades
We have a yearly Dance of the Decades. Last year it was 80s prom and also the last time we saw Adrienne alive. This year we had 70s prom. We also had AO-Pie in the face which raised money for both the arthritis foundation and the memorial fund. We also take donations from anyone who will send them. We're trying our best to carry it out just the way Adrienne wanted. If there are any other ideas that you think would be good I would love to hear them.
