Please fill me in....something about Left Eye's assistant and a car accident

I only heard half the broadcast, but there was some story about Left Eye's assistant killing someone in a car accident (could have heard it wrong, not sure) Can someone fill in the blanks? Forgive me if this story is inappropriate or bogus. Again, I only caught half of the story.
