Sisterhood events

So awhile back I posted about wanting to change the way we do Big/Lil reveal, choice making, poem passing etc. I'm going to do it...thanks for the suggestions! Now I need help with something else. In the week and a half before we pick Big SiS's, I want to have a couple littleevents with NM's and Actives who want to be Big's...maybe a movie night, dinner at the house, etc. I also want to have some cute Sisterhood events planned. What do your different chapters do, or what have they done that have gone over really well with the chapter and NM's?

What about a make your own T-shirt party? Have everyone bring a clean solid color T-shirt and puffy paints, glue, ribbon, fabric and make shirts? Have some people bring some popcorn and pretzels and cokes (or whatever), play some music and have fun together!

We have a sisterhood dinner every Friday night at a different restaurant in town. We also often get together and go to the dollar movie or Gattitown a fun arcade/pizza place. We also have Big Appreciation night where the new lils get to see how much the rest of us appreciate our big sisters and all they have done for us. We also have birthday parties for the members of the chapter whose birthday falls over the summer or during Christmas Break.

After Big/Lil Revelation we always give our lil sisters cute lil awards that kind of poke fun at what they've been doing all semester, but not really mean like one girl always gets a key to the guys dorm, because she's been spending a lot of time there. Well when it comes time for Big Appreciation we just reverse the roles and let the lils poke fun at their bigs. Like my big sister got the cheesiest big sister award, because she started her own cheese club which was a joke anyway. Frica really likes cheese just in case you hadn't figured that out hehe. My other big sister got the award for meeting the most men while in Ireland. YAY! hehe. Hope that explains it a lil.
