Question Questions about Ebay

Hello everyone, I was browsing the net, and I came across some items that I am interested in purchasing on Ebay, but I wanted to get your input their services.

How many of you have ever made purchases on Ebay, and what was your overall view of the items that you purchased?

Just wanted to know how what the outcomes are from people who actually use Ebay!

Thanks a bunch!!!!

Arrow I've used the service

I have never used the Ebay site, but I have used www.half.com an Ebay company.

I have had no problems on half.com and have always received my items on time and in good condition. I have purchased a scanner, computer speakers w/ subwoofer, and several books.

With anyting on the web, its good to read the ENTIRE USER agreement so that you know what Ebay will and will not take responsibility for. Also, read as many ratings and responses about a seller as possible. On, Half.com you can ask the seller questions, I think Ebay has the same feature. It helps to clarify what is or is not included.

Cool

Ebay is a wonderful service. Just make sure you read the comments people posted about the products that they bought from the seller you intend to buy from first. That's usually a good indicator of how doing business with them will be.
Just a tip: If you are buying designer stuff like purses or clothing make sure it says Authentic, not "Gucci-like" or something like that. If you're worried about someone getting your money and not sending you any merchandise, ebay has a policy on that, they'll insure it up to so much, you might want to read the specifics though. Ebay can be addictive so be careful!

I purchased 3 fraggles (from "Fraggle Rock") and some "Fraggle Rock" memorabilia. I was satisfied w/ everything except for one of the dolls, which was really raggedy looking - not Ebay's fault. I would buy something again if saw something else I wanted. I've been thinking of putting those fraggles back up for sale, but we'll see.
