Any Figure Skating fans out there?
I have a question about Midori Ito. Does anyone remember which competition it was where she flew right off the rink and hit the cameraman? I'm trying to find it on YouTube.

She was doing her performance and skated right out of the opening of the rink where the huge camera was. It was part of the ABC (I think) montage of "Agony of defeat" clips.
ETA:
When she came back into the rink, she bowed to the camera man.

Midori Ito crashing into the camera pit atht e1991 Worlds
She still came in 4th.

Sometimes you just gotta be creative when typing in search queries on Google. Like, "Midori Ito flies off rink" might not generate as many responses as "Midori Ito crashes into camera pit."

Thanks to NP and OTW I will be googling and You Tubing Jill Trenary and Torvill & Dean's Carmen tonight.  FYI--I never would have believed it, but there is Fantasy Figure Skating at the US Figure Skating website (usfigureskating.org)
