How much money do you raise?

My chapter tries to raise at least a couple thousand dollars each year for our local food bank.

Our sorority does a whole lot of Philanthropy work I am proud to say. Each month we try to do something, and we have soemthings that we do every year. Here is a breakdown:

Hospital telethon - $800 (raised through a fasion show) plus we man the phones for like 7 hours
Run for the Cure - We each raise money, but then go in as a team and for the past two years we have raised a thousand dollars each year!
Food bank - We have a halloween food drive every year, since people are already at their doors and we get to get dressed up (it helps that people also give us candy!) But we do it with a fraternity and we all have fun! Since it is food that we raise, I can't say how much, but at least three car loads of food (cans, etc)
This year we did the AIDS walk - $100 I think

This year we hope to help Habitat for Humanity.

So far for our Philanthropy efforts this year, LSPi has raised $350 for the American Diabetes Walk in Los Angeles, CA. We haven't had much opportunity to do any other community services this semester, but we'll be at the AIDS walk next week!

Just saw this thread and was bored so I'll reply even though it is really old

We raised about $4,000-$5,000 in our big fall philanthropy. We also raise another $1,000-$2,000 in our spring philanthropy.

We raised on average, $15,000 for our annual philanthropy. In fact, I'd say that its the most successful on campus!
