Question Are you a Legacy and what's the breakdown?

Recently, I had a conversation with an Alpha and he informed me that sororities paid more attention to Legacies than fraternities. My former husband was a Que. How my son goes, is up to him.

Father Omega Psi Phi
Godmother Delta Sigma Theta

That's my22 cents

I broke 'tradition' in my immediate family: Mom, Zeta Phi Beta and Dad, Phi Beta Sigma. Uncle (Dad's brother) Phi Beta Sigma.

Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law are members of Delta Sigma Theta.

I told my parents 17 years ago that I was only interested in Delta Sigma Theta and they knew that that was the right choice for me. I have a son and a daughter and it's up to them to decide what's best for them.

Now Wonder Woman, my fellow Magic #3...you KNOW that me and our girl JBD will stab you in the forehead with a rusty butter knife if your daughter pledges anything besides Delta...AND you can hold JBD down while I stab her if her two daughters go ANY WAY besides the Delta way!!

LOL!!! Just jokin'...sorta.

Ok, I'ma need you and JBD to put down the rusty butter knife! Yikes, I got the mad visual on that one. And why do I have be the one to hold down JBD? I'd feel safer holding the rusty butter knife! You KNOW that child is vicious...and she wonders where the baby gets it from: She got it from her Mama!

Re: Are you a Legacy and what's the breakdown?

I am a second generation Delta.

Mother Delta Sigma Theta crossed 1965 Alpha Pi (Kentucky state Univ.)

Aunt (Father's Sister)Delta Sigma Theta crossed 1983 Xi (University of Louisville)

If I have children, who knows which way they will choose....

I'VE BEEN ON PINS AND NEEDLES but I knew if I could be patient, it would be revealed to me! I spoke with JBD this weekend and I didn't even ask her. Thanks for the lesson in patience Soror...sincerely. *sniff*

My Sorors are great teachers! Yep, even this crusty 36 year old has MUCH to learn in Delta.
