Bruhs, Bruhs, Bruhs and Sorors...... I bring good news from QUE/Delta Weekend in Hattiesburg, MS... Nu Eta chapter of Omega Psi Phi and Nu Mu Chapter of DST set it out to the sky.. not the Roof.. to the sky...

Friday..

The stepshow kicked off at about 6... The one thing I like about the weekend is that ALL CHAPTERS IN MISSISSIPPI communicate and come down to support the weekend.. I learned a NEW march from Beta Sig (Southern) and got to kick it with : G.Stewart (A), Dark Nasty (KB '92), J.G., Drew (YE '91), Buddah (Tau Sig)Arkansas Pine Bluff, and a host of other Bruhs from my era.. The Sigmas from Jackson State won the show with the Bruhs from Southern coming in 2nd.. the Delta's from Jackson State also took 1st

After the Stepshow, the Bruhs and Delta's had a Jam in A RODEO !!! y'all don't hear me... They brought in a temp rubber floor and layed it right over the dirt. Bruhs, the Bruhs were charging $15-$20 a head to get in the dance in the dirt... over 4700 niccuhs paid.. (you do the math).. no wonder the Bruhs were able to set out my room at the Holiday Inn..

The food and drank NEVER STOPPED AT THE FRAT HOUSE..

Saturday...

Saturday, the Bruhs moved the picnic from the normal location by the lake TO A PASTURE !!! Bruhs, it was about 4 acres with a pavillion on one side (where the Bruhs had two double barrel grills) and a pavillion on the other side for me (the dj). In the middle was nothing but Grass and NO SHADE.. haha... Bruhs.. across one fence was Cows and goats.. and across the other fence was horses.. BUT IT WAS ON.. and at a local where THE QUES COULD BE THE QUES...

that night.. the Bruhs had parties in two clubs.. both were packed out... I hate I lost an hour of sleep Sunday due to daylight savings.. and I hate no other Bruhs from K/_\ could/would roll with me... I'll end it like this.. and this was the consensus of all the Bruhs there... QUE/Delta Weekend is waaaaaaaaaaaay outer than district is gonna be this weekend... cause I'm dayum near guarantee'n that there will be no big picnic set out or party where the Bruhs can wreck under one roof in Marietta... it's gonna be "QUES, go to a club in ATL".. not out..

I wish KK could move their Mardi Gras to this Saturday to coinside with District instead of next weekend on April 20th..

Being that I was bown' and raised in the "Ssipp" I never would doubt that Que-Delta weekend at USM was off the hinges. I'm glad you had a good time! We don't call Mississippi the Hospitality State fuh nuttin!
