How often is your national website updated?
Well?

I remember in 2001 it was red. Can't remember too much before then. I'm sure someone else can, though.
And then they re-did it to the existing design in time for the Centennial in 2004. They haven't changed it since.
Important news gets added to the site frequently -- job openings, position appointments, chapter colonization/reorganization/closing, etc. I like to think the Members Only section gets the most updates.

We get new news frequently, but HOL EE CRAP do they need to change the pictures on the site more often. It also needs more updating as far as links to chapters - there are a lot of dead ones on there.

Our design hasn't changed since 2002 . (APhiA)
The APO national website went through a WONDERFUL transformation last year, and I believe has been overhauled twice since I was initiated.

Ours is being worked on again some more but still need a lot of work as most do as I check many to compare.
These if you compare to Local Chapter web sites are not much better.

Ours was recently overhauled which was a definite improvement. Now, they constantly update news and important information but the layout is still the same. I like it though b/c it's functional & I know where to find everything real easy.

ya'll are weird.
P.S. I really don't care what our National HQ website looks like. I don't think I've ever seen it.

If you mean like total overhaul, I don't think our website it 'totally overhauled' very often. I think we just got one a couple of years back. I'm sure the info there is randomly updated though

Yeah, the Alpha website has dynamic content, I suppose. Certain sections get updated, and they recently (past few years) updated AlphaNET, which is how we pay dues and register for conventions online. That part is great. The design though..... meh.

Senruset, I'll attempt to get this thread back on track - Gamma Phi Beta recently did a relaunch of their site in late 2006. Our Members Only section receives the most updates, but the rest of the site is nice and current as well thanks to the site revamp. Check us out! http://www.gammaphibeta.org/

Our HQ website was completely overhauled and updated in the summer of 2006 and I've been thoroughly impressed. And as far as I can tell they've continued to update it. I was looking through the "Famous Thetas" section last week and the Thetas that were elected in the November election have been added. I hope that HQ continues to update it and add more stuff to it.

I like the new APO website design and I've noticed news has been updated much more quickly.

Yes! I feel confident going to the new APO website when I want to find important documents or news! Also, the pictures rotate and I once saw myself! LOL

Kappa Delta is scheduled to release our newest overhaul around the beginning of February. This will be the 3rd major overhaul since they first came online. http://kappadelta.org

Yes, the new design is a BIG improvement over the old site. However, I think the site needs more photos, and they need to do some tweaking to make the site more intuitive for the user.
