Any professors you really liked/hated when you were at Athens?

I really don't remember there being any wonderful teachers at Athens when I was there, although, my memory isn't great! I can think of numerous teachers that I really didn't think were that great, but couldn't possibly list them all!
There was a really lonnnng horrible teacher strike when I was in high school and the teachers were basically forced to go back to work so they were quite bitter for a long time and a lot of them refused to teach. The few teachers that I liked, didn't stay long and were only there for a year or two. I know a lot of people liked the band teacher (don't remember his name), but I wasn't in band. Who did you like/dislike?

Were you there when the Hefernan/Confliti situation happened? My favorite teacher was Mr. Johnson...12 grade AP English. He had all his seniors paint their hand print on the wall so we could "leave our mark."
BTW, I told some of the girls at AB about the package and they were very excited and said thank you! I don't know if they received them yet, but when I was over there yesterday trying on whites they didn't mention it. Stupid me left my initation skirt back home and initiation is on friday! Yikes!

Unfortunately, I was there during the whole teacher drugging incident. It happened my junior year (the kids involved were seniors). I don't think anyone realized how serious it was and really what happened until a lot later and until it made the news and even on 20/20. I believe it was also the same year as the big teacher strike. It was quite a year!
Mr. Johnson was a really great teacher. I do remember him not that you've brought him up. I also had him for AP English. He was defintely one of the more caring teachers!
what year did you graduate?

My sister was there when the drugging happened too but I don't know what year she was.
I graduated in '98.
