Being a nice sister

I just wanted to say that all of us should really be more kind to our sisters. You will have a special bind with some, and others might not be as close, but they are your sister.

Also I wanted to say that after I graduated, I went to another school to get a graduate degree. The college that I went to (no name) has a Phi Sig chapter, and they were actually mean to me!!

I am very blessed to have my "twin" and I am proud to call her sister and my best friend. --(----@

I AM SOOO SADDENED to hear that I have sisters out there that were rude to another sister, even if she was a chapter. The point of joining a NATIONAL organization is to have a sister EVERYWHERE you go.. if that chapter is going ot be rude to someone from another chapter... they may as well consider themselves a local soror.

i agree!!! my sisters (myself not included) have also had sisters from other chapters be rude or snub them...even at national events such as founders day and division conf!!! none of us is better than anyone else...we are all working towards a common goal and are sisters!!! it really is sad how shallow some people can be...to think that just because another chpater is different than yours that they are any less your sisters! we all took the same oath...

When I attended NGLA, I was surprised at some of the cool receptions I got from sisters from other schools. I think I'm pretty outgoing and I tried to strike up conversation, but some ladies weren't very receptive. HMMMMMM......

I admit that some of my sisters (including myself) prejudged some of our other sisters in our division (prolly because they were dressed up when everyone else were in jeans ).
BuT I would never (and did not) treat them differently and in fact I did talk with them at division conferences and at conclaves and they were great women and so I've told my other sisters who were being judgemental.
We've been to their campus now about 3 times because they invited us and we have had a great time whenever we go there!
I'm just glad we all learned our lesson and that we don't make judgements like that anyomore(or at least not me!)

Hi girls:

I just wanted to say that this really bothers me about other chapters...We should stick together as the awesome sorority we are. I just recently moved to a different state and have been very lucky to get involved with some of the chapters down here. I have met some of the coolest girls here and I am so lucky for that. You girls know who you are...thanks for everything!

I really think I would have moved back to PA if I wouldn't have met such a wonderful group of people down here just to call me and im me and wish me a good day...this means alot to someone when you are new to an area and don't know anyone.

I never realized that I was going to find sisters like this in other chapters but I'm so glad I did.

awh kirsten! you are too sweet...just think that if hadn't mat me through greek chat we wouldn't have been able to have an absolutely CRAZY spring break together...

heres to hoping that other sisters take the hint and start realizing that we are ALL sisters, not just with girls in your chapter but also on the national level...we may not all be alike (but thats what makes us great!) but we are sisters.
