Post Another round of Greeks in the Media

So I was watching TV last night around midnight and I hit the USA network and found this show called "Canonball Run 2001" where teams drive cross country doing zany adventures and having a driving team eliminated each week in the "Roadkill Challenge".

So one of the teams is called "Alpha Gamma Grandma" and composes of two fraternity guys from Cal State Northridge and a 70 year old grandmother nicknamed "Princess". I did some research at the Cal State Website and one of the guys is a Pike up there.

Of course the fraternity guys are the crazy fun loving party type, and do all sorts of immature antics. They've picked up the nickname "Those damn frat bastards" from the other driving teams.

Here's the link to show if you all are interested. http://cannonballrun.caranddriver.com/default.htm

LOL I've actually been hooked to Cannonball Run.

As an AGD I also thought that it was pretty funny how "those damn frat bastards" got the name Alpha Gamma Grandma. And, I have to admit, they have a pretty sweet car. Alpha Gamma Grandma is such a cute name.

Those hip-hop people have to go...I wouldn't miss them one bit.

I also think it's pretty funny how they got those castaways on the show. I don't really care much for Susan, but I'd like for them to do well since Kaya's part of the team.

Note of interest, on Jeopardy last night, on of the contestants didn't know the final answer (he was from george washington u) and wrote "National Kappa Sigma day" instead!

You know you can sign up to win that car? I went out to the website and entered the sweepstakes to win that yellow camaro.

Tonight's the final night, part of me is hoping the fraternity guys will pull it out, but it's SO FUNNY to watch The Third Wheel bicker and yell at each other.
