Lightbulb Philanthropy items and Wal-Mart

Please pass this great info on to your Recruitment Directors and RPM Chairs. Eta Kappa in Denton, TX went to Wal-Mart to see if they would donate any items for their Philanthropy Day party during recruitment in the Fall. They said Absolutely Yes! and offered to donate everything! They also said that they specifically set aside budgets for each store for doing things like this. So, go out there, talk to Wal-Mart and post here how it goes.
Love you all!

What is a Philantrophy Day party? Is it like an auction?

A philanthropy day party is a day during formal recruitment designated for philanthropy. Most chapters will have a regular recruitment party, but during the event they will make something for Robbie Page Memorial or a local philanthropy. They will then donate them after recruitment. It's a way to introduce our philanthropy. Many schools do this now.
