Post Most Chapters Chartered!

My organization is at Alpha Epsilon Nu Chapter. Is any other organization gone to three letter charters?

How many chapters chartered is that then? I could figure it out, but I'm too lazy I'm unsure because Delta Upsilon names the chapter after the institution it is at, i.e. Miami Chapter (at Miami University of Ohio).

DU has had about 150 I believe.

According to my calculations it's the 709 chapter chartered.

from Alpha to Omega 24

So from Alpha to Omega Omega is 24 x 24
or 576

From Alpha to Epsilon is 5 and 5 x 24 is 120

And the third letter is Nu. And Nu is the thirthteenth letter.

So
Alpha Epsilon Nu is
576 + 120 + 13 = 709

It is 709, but you've got two errors that cancel each other out. The three letter chapters have only finished Alpha Alpha ? to Alpha Delta ? which is 96. The 120 in the addition is that 96 plus the 24 for the since letters.

The way I do my calculations quickly is to remember that each of the double letter chapter is a multiple of 25 and work from there, so Pi Pi is #400.

Interesting, I know TKE doesnt use the Eta designation, which might be messing with everyone's counts if they do the same thing. Does anyone know why this happens? The only reason I can think of is that you don't have the Eta Pi Chapter, or something else silly like that.

Ps. I believe TKE is at Upsilon Gamma right now.

Somes fraternities, use the state, then a letter, such as California Nu, which I think is our chapter of Sig Ep.

Theta has 123 active chapter, and about 30 more that are no longer active. I think we are on Theta Beta now in terms of chapters, but I am not quite sure.

Wink

TKE was the first to crack 300, and I think they are now close to 450, or something like that...........
