Hi ya'll! I haven't been on here in a while, but it's nice to be back and see so many people talking!
Anyway, I had a really exciting Phi Mu experience today and figured I'd share the love with ya'll. So, I'm sitting in this forum about employment opportunities at the hospital here in Gainesville and there's lots of girls from my class there to get info, I'm nursing by the way. And not many of my nursing friends are staying here after graduation. So I was sitting by myself and this girl I've talked to a few times comes and sits by me and we chit chat. Well, she was initiated in Phi Mu a few years ago, but withdrew due to personal reasons, though I've never spoken to her about Phi Mu. At any rate, she brought it up today, and we had the nicest time talking about her pledge sisters that she hadn't seen in a while and how she missed being a Phi Mu. So, point being, as I sat there feeling kinda bad because I didn't have many friends to talk to during this ackward time waiting for the forum to begin and feeling uneasy about stepping into the huge world after college, this Phi Mu popped out of nowhere and instantly we had so much to talk about and life wasn't so serious because Phi Mu was there. Which just goes to show you that even though this sister and I never spoke about it before, there's still a bond there and Phi Mu is forever, even when you're old and graduating and trying to get a job in the huge, scary world.
Ok, so maybe in writing this story isn't as great as in person, but it was still exciting! Love me some Phi Mu!!
