New Book

I'm a bit hesitant to post this, because I'm not looking to start yet another flame war between "old school" and MIP, or hazing or non-hazing, or BGLO and GLO...

But I received an email today (I don't know why) "selling" a book called Pledge Brothers. They provided a link: http://www.pledgebrothers.com

The link has a description and an excerpt from one of the chapters. It's obviously based on NPHC processes, and I think it supports hazing, although you can't be sure by the amount the give you to read.

Just wanted to pass it on as an FYI. As the saying goes..

The web site shows the cover of the book with the letters of four black frats only.

I think the movie they are advertising is one documentary that HBO ordered and paid for, alegedly showing pledge activities and hell week at an ATO chapter.

The ATO Natl. heard about it, and took legal action to stop it, pointing out to HBO how phony it was. In the film's hazing, some of the "victims" were actually actives (cast as pledges) and the film's producer/director were shown - hazing each other.

HBO never has shown the documentary.
