Help!

Hey everyone!

I was hoping you guys could help me with my application for recruitment, as well as the interview process. I have already done my research on the sorority I want to join, and here's some of the info about it:

Their philanthropy focuses on women and children

They are a local sorority (although they want to become national)

Here's some info about me (so you guys can help me fill out the application):

I am a college sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (the minimum requirement for each phase of the process is 2.1)

I have a mild case of cerebral palsy known as Hydrocephalus

I was a Girl Scout from the time I was eight until I graduated high school (although some of the girls already know this because I rushed last term, as well as the volunteer work associated with it)

The main question that I struggle with on the application is this:

Please include a brief bio of 100 words or less and include your reasons for rushing Zeta Pi Omega.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

We have no idea why you want to rush them. You need to tell them.

All the reasons listed are why I want to rush. The problem I have is with condensing it down to 100 words

Considering you've stated that you already rushed this organization once and were not accepted for membership, I would focus on what activities you have done in the past year that distinguishes you from last year. Now that you're in college your past work with Girl Scouts doesn't really matter any more, unless you've continued working as a mentor during college. Have you been in any clubs or volunteered in the past year?

I haven't done a lot, but I have done these things (I plan on volunteering more since I'm on summer break):

Volunteered at a women's shelter (painted one of the new bedrooms)

Wrote Letters to men and women in the military overseas

Participated in our school's Relay for Life event
