Early Fall Recruitment

At our last meeting, it was announced that Panhellenic Formal Fall Recruitment at MTSU will begin on August 25th, which is the earliest MTSU has ever had it. Last fall it didn't begin until September 6th. This year it will be before fraternity rush, which is good for the fraternities so they can have more of us come out to help with their recruitment. Classes begin on August 18th, so there won't be much time between getting used to classes and rush starting. I'm really excited although I know it will be *VERY* stressful. Last year around 300 of us went to only 7 sororities, and this year there could be as many as 400 girls going through recruitment (ahhhh!). For those of you who normally have an earlier recruitment, what do you think the advantages/disadvantages are (especially with a fairly large # of girls going through)?
