DUH...white people across socioeconomic statuses are (in general) not accustomed to being the minority. This is even further highlighted for whites of higher socioeconomic status (in general). Yes, most of these whites will feel threatened in environments in which they are outnumbered and a minority. Add to that Black fans (some have been drinking), predominantly Black music genres, and Black cheerleaders. Most whites prefer to retreat to the familiar and to environments in which they are the majority. Most environments are like that so I don't feel a need to feel sorry for whites or beg them to patronize the Atlanta Hawks unless ticket sells and profits are slumping.
