Poll: Best Kevin Smith's movie

In honour of me finally getting to watch Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back (got released last week here), what is Kevin Smith's best movie?

My vote: Dogma.

Gotta say that my favorite is "Chasing Amy". I really like Dogma too though.

My favorite is Mallrats, with Clerks an extremely close second.

Clerks. I can't believe that there isn't a total consensus on this one.

Chasing Amy with Clerks a close second. I liked Dogma, but it was my least favourite of all his films. I even liked Mallrats better than I liked Dogma.

Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back was silly (in a good way). I'm glad he decided to close out the Jersey series with a bang, and with a film just for the fans.

while i am a HUGE fan of the NJ trilogy and all of kevin's films..definately no doubt in my mind my vote goes for clerks because while kevin is an incredible writer clerks doesn't rely on big hollywood names or any glitz or glamour (or money, for that matter)that his other films utilized..

as a sidenote..just read on his website that he just finished his first draft for the script to his next movie "jersey girl" woohoo

Dogma's stellar, kevin smith is a genius - i commend his loyalty toward the actors/ress that played in his early movies before he became a household name.

on a different but slightly related topic, Toronto has developed a plan to contrust a 250 mil. dollar facility to encourage more production in movies/television...looks like hollywood is getting a run for its money.

I'm casting a vote for Chasing Amy. Mallrats and Dogma tie for second.

Dogma, J&SB Strike Back (for the Good Will Hunting II scene alone - hilarious!!), and Chasing Amy third ...

Clerks
Dogma
Strike Back (although this one prob. shouldn't count)
Mallrats
then Chasing Amy

I like them all - but chasing amy gets a little too cheese-ball for me at parts, a bit overdone in that way. All are great movies though

I remember seeing Clerks way back when, and I still love it... I still haven't seen Stike back, but I guess I should put it on my movies to watch list.
