There is no single answer to this. I've met plenty of impressive PNMs who I liked, but who I didn't think were a good match for our chapter. Different sisters click differently with different PNMs. Different PNMs will click with some chapters and not others.
That's why it's important to keep an open mind.
That said, I always liked women who I found to genuine. They weren't trying to be Patty Perfect PNM. They were themselves and they were looking for a place to be themselves. They weren't trying necessarily to impress us. They were trying to make friends. (And since I didn't go through a competitive recruitment that might be the worst advice ever. IDK)
Nothing, honestly. I either clicked with them and could see them as a friend or not. That is what stood out: clicking with someone. If she has great grades, volunteer service, and recommendations, that is a good sign. So the stuff on paper impresses the most and then the great click and personality is what cinches it.
