I'm rush chair for this upcoming semester and because of our low numbers, I need a rush that is really going to leave a big impact on the rushees. The way our rush works is that since we don't have houses, the rushees are sent to certain rooms at certain times where the sororities will be. Each sorority has a set amount of time for the group of girls that comes in and then a new group comes in after them. This lasts 4 nights and it gets narrowed down which girls want what sorority and vice versa. I need a theme for each night that is going to be cute and doesn't have to require a skit because our school doesn't do that.
I also need some sort of activity that involves the girls to make them feel as if they are a part of us. I read in a previous post how the girls each tossed a piece of a rope to one another which held up their charter so she didn't fall (it went something like that..I can't find the post) I am looking for something like that to do, where if one person doesn't do something the whole thing falls apart. (sorry if that sounds a little confusing...I'm tryin to explain it the best I can) I want to say "every member makes a difference" and I just don't know what to do to emphasize that. If anyone has any ideas PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I really want this rush to stand out!!! THANKS!!!
