Did Brian McKnight beat his wife?
Did anyone hear that recently Brian McKnight beat his wife. I've heard this rumor from two people but have been unable to verify it. I am a hugh Brian McKnight fan and would be soooo disappointed if this were true, especially the way he always sings about love. I am a devout fan so if you know where I can verify this info. please let me know cause I've looked all over the internet and can find nothing.

Now hold up...
If everyone who sang love songs did not have issues, no one would record
Luther Vandross - Now who sings a love song like Luther? Don't get me started on his issues/alleged issues.
Marvin Gaye - And you know he had issues!
Barry White - He's a pretty nice dude, but once again, issues...
Stevie Wonder - The greatest, complete with LOVE ISSUES.
Some people say R Kelley sings about love, and I will give them the benefit, but he has issues as well.
So if someone can give me the name of a good ballad singer who does not have home relationship issues-other than James Ingram-(and by the way, I have heard Brian McKnight admit in interviews that he and his wife "strayed outside of the marriage" but I didn't hear anyone mention beatings) please let me know.

It was a joke! I guess those issues are what makes a good love song/career. You think he'll ever release a song about domestic violence?

you know he's paralyzed right. well, apparantly he was receiving sexual favors while driving and wrecked. but, the kicker is that he was with a transsexual (or transvestite...the one's that still got their tools). now, i don't know if he knew that this was a man or what...

ROFL at "tools" reference, MeezDiscreet.
Yep, I remember when Teddy Pendergrass got into that accident, back in 1982. The companion went by the name of Tenika Watson. Apparently, Pendergrass didn't learn of Watson's true gender until months later.

aaahhh, good looking out, i knew about the paralyzed thing, and i knew it was due to a car accident, but uh see, back in '82 a sista was only 5 years old, so i don't think my parents were sharing the details of it then lol!!
i'm not gonna lie, my sister and i were speculating if he had women beating tendencies...even though that man could probably croon the panties off a nun , some of his lyrics (pour some burning hot oil on me baby) made ya say "hhhhmmmm"!!

Talk about IKE TURNER . . . Al Green needs to be 'shamed.
Anyway, in DST, we talked about RONZONI "LUFFA" Vandross and his sexuality. . . http://www.greeksource.com/gcforums/...threadid=13717
