Why did we need a new thread for this?
Since you are a junior member, perhaps you don't know, but you can use the "search" button at the top of the screen to search for words such as "fraternity rankings" and see other threads that have already been started dealing with this topic -- not to mention that there is a thread that never seems to leave the front page called "Most popular on your campus" -- people have "ranked" their schools frats/soros on there.

Maffia, do not mind, some of the OLDIES get testy and remember not when they were neophytes.
At least you go on and are giving input! We all have the same thing in common or we find out very quickly. What house? I am a LXA but also a member of the Greek Community as a whole!!!!!!!!!

Oh AXO dahhhhling:
I think you and I should refrain from using the *S* word. It seems as though the *S* word ticks people off and they bite your head off after you use it in a topic as it was clearly noted in the Rush forum.

Wow you are so lucky! The Wine Country is absolutely spectacular!!! Have you ever been down to Sausalito or Tiburon?? I really hope to move there one day...right across from my hometown, SF, AND has that charming small-town feel! I love the old-fashioned malls, shops, etc. And I love the ocean, and the Bay is just beautiful!
I haven't been to Napa in a long time, but you're lucky to live there!!

What did I say wrong now? I wasn't sarcastic, rude, or evil! I am sorry, Tom, if I opened my mouth (or fingers) and said/typed something that obviously displeases you. My email is AXOAlum@greekchat.com -- you can direct further complaints and censorship requests there.
I sincerely apologize, MafiaCSUS if I have in any way caused your visit to GC to be unpleasant. I just wanted you to be aware that there was already a post (and a rather long one at that) about this that stays at the top of the page.

Hey everyone -
My personal opinion is that I've been on this for awhile (ISU_XO) and I do not even look at the entries that have over hundred posts- sorry- but what "house" you are in would be fun to read if it was 2-3 pages- not 12-13.
So maybe we can delete old threads and let new ones start up????? Just my thought. Sue

Changing names on us? You know who pioneered that game...hahahaha --
To Everyone -
Hey - it wouldn't hurt my feelings if a whole lotta the old stuff was deleted. But when things happen like the week that we had 2 posts about Phi Mu practically right next to each other on the front page, that's when I gotta question why we even have the *S* function - I'm not saying that word since it always gets me in trouble (hint: rhymes with lurch). There are still posts out there that were started by unregistered people intentionally to start flame wars (if you are new....and there is NOTHING wrong with being new, simply a preface to my statement...., here's a little history -- people used to could post without registering, so in essence we had a problem with *some* people posting stuff and then posting with different names to agree with themselves -- and we could always tell it was the same person because they "talked" the same way, and made the same grammatical errors and other stuff).
I still have not had any probs using the *S* - not to discount or deny the experiences of others who have had probs with it -- I personally have not -- like when I used it for Phi Mu, and it indeed showed the two posts that were talking about the same thing and posted within a day or two of each other. So if it is not working properly for some people, then maybe deleting some of the old stuff would be a good thing.
Of course, I for one, again my personal opinion, do not want to see threads such as "what is so-and-so chapter like on your campus" or my favorites "why do BGLO's step?" "Why do BGLO's have calls?" "Why do GLO's keep secrets?" "What do your letters mean?" and all the other 4 million posts that were popping up repeatedly.
Brief disclaimer: This is my personal opinion - that would be of me personally pertaining to my thoughts and feelings regarding the topic at hand. Please do not flame me or deem me to be worthless to you and the greek community at large because I actually have an opinion about something. If I shouldn't have this opinion, then please let me know what opinion I should have so as to not cause any more dissention among the GC family and friends.
