Out of Curiousity...
How was 2003 for you?
Was it a good/bad year?
Why/why not?
What's next in 2004?
I must say, 2003 was not such a good year for me. Yes I graduated, but one of the worst memories that I'm gonna have is looking out at the audience during graduation and not seeing a single face from my family. I just wanted to cry. (My mom and best friend were there, but it took a while to find them). I also had to let a couple of friends go due to us growing apart and other such heinous things. But, on a semi-good note, I found out the love of my life is single, but we cannot be together due to circumstances beyond our control. Plus, i don't want to be a rebound. Yeah...
Next year:
Full-time employee
Go down two pants sizes
Find a way into law enforcement
2004 is destined to be a good azz year...

The Good, The Bad, The Goals
The Bad:
I lost one of my closest friends. He started rumors that we slept together!
I lost another close friend-he lied like I was on his jock (as if!)
Learned you can't trust people! Totally can't trust people!
The Good:
The Lord blessed me with a job
The Lord is blessing my church
The Lord revealed the true friends in my life
I've learned a lot about men this year (why, why, why?)
I've grown closer to the Lord
My goals:
Continue my walk with Christ
Fast the entire month of Jan. from stuff for spiritual growth
Stop using profanity
Study the Word more
LOSE WEIGHT!
Do NOT settle! (remember that too much baggage thread?)
Implement more ME time...working out, rest, reading, etc.
LOVE ALL OF ME!

The Good:
-- I started my dream job in November.
-- I am healthy and happy.
-- My family has gotten closer.
-- I realized who my TRUE friends are.
The Bad:
-- In February, I was in a car accident that destroyed my new car ( I had only made two payments on it)
-- In May, my apartment building caught on fire.
(If you don't have an insurance policy on your apartment, get one now!)
2004:
-- Move to the location of my new job.
-- Continue to be blessed
-- Continue to work hard
Goals:
-- Save money to attend family reunion in Baltimore
-- Save money to attend National Convention in Las Vegas!
-- Learn to be more trusting and practice patience.

2003/2004
2003 was ok for me. I had a tough semester in school and a few family problems. But, overall I've been blessed. 2004 is going to be a great year for me!!!! I'll be getting into my forensic studies and I'm going to the Bahamas for Mother's Day!!!!

2003 stunk!!
My closest relative was diagnosed with a killer disease (still fighting).
I lost my grandmother (now both of them are gone).
I lost my job.
My friend was killed by her husband.
Another friend's husband was killed by someone he knew (in his own house).
It's bound to get better. I'm alive, my parents are alive and I am going to see them tomorrow in another state.
The year 2004 is going to be better. I am not sure what it has in store, but this year was not the best and I doubt that I am going to have two tough years in a row.

2003 was a blessed year, regardless of all the 'bad' that happened. Here's a taste of the bad, though:
-Fiancee' and I split up (God still has a plan for me)
-Great-Aunt developed Alzheimer's and was placed in a nursing home
-church dramatically decreased in membership
Here's some good for 2003:
-My music ministry is slowly on the rise
-finished school with my bachelor's degree
-ex-fiancee' and I are patching things up (whether that means getting back together or just being friends is up to the Lord)
-Paid off most of my credit card debt
My goals for 2004:
-Live life to the fullest for the Lord, no matter what the situation may look like (the Lord knows how much I can bear)
-Work even harder on my music ministry and be successful
-Take the LSATs and hopefully get into law school
-Go on to law school with a fullride scholarship for any law school in country does anyone know a good website to look for something like this? Especially for African-Americans?
-get married (whenever it's in the Lord's will, but hopefully this year)
I'm just excited for what the Lord has in store next year. Hey! That's a good slogan, huh? "Watch what God has in store in 2004!!"

not very good.
I left the teaching profession.
I want to pursue a career in screenwriting.
I know I have a long road to climb, but I am willing to take that sacrifice.

2003 was interesting for me ~ there was some amazing events and some traumatic ones as well, but through it all, I can honestly say that I have been happy throughout it all.
Outstanding things
1. I got married in 2003!!
2. My hubby and I have made a complete turnaround financially
3. I've paid off 3 credit cards
4. I have a car in my name that is fully paid for and I bought myself.
5. My brother joined me in greekdom, becoming an Alpha
6. I was hired for a highly sought after job, and they recruited me!
7. My hubby got a new job.
8. I'm still alive!!!
Trials and Tribulations
1. I got into a car accident and had to have major surgery.
2004 will by the year that the Lord will restore!
We're definitely moving this year, possibly to a house. We're just waiting to see how things go, but we'll know for sure by March!! The Lord is so good to me!!!
Happy New Year!!

Leaving 2003 into 2004
I must say, 2003 was NOT a good year for me:
Bad:
-had to deal with some issues on campus about xyz and why I didn't do it
-dealing with mental breakdowns during the semester
-dealing with the loss of a child
-watching my bf join the Marines
Good:
-watching my bf grow into a MAN!!(a real one)
-finishing the semester(passing everything) dispite all problems
-finding that true relationship with God
-finding out that I can leave my past in the past
-I am here to hopefully see another year pass
-finished my music performance minor on oboe(only African American in the school of music on oboe)
In 2004:
Who knows, anything can happen, but major things:
-finish these last two semesters in school
-get engaged
-find a full time job
-help my mom start her business
-always remember to take my problems to God
