I guess this is pretty late, but you can keep it in mind for the future...
As cliched as it sounds, get something that you really value and know that your big values, too. As corny as it is, something that is really dear to you makes the best present sometimes.
I also really love photo frames with puffy paint of our letters on it, with a really sweet photo that has sentimental value inside. Also, my little did something so sweet- she sewed a pillow for me by herself and also stitched our letters on it! It's a beautiful pillow, and even though it's not perfect (she is not a crafts-person), I really treasure it b/c it means so much to me. It's a black knit with our gold letters stitched on really big.
Cookies are also nice...my little also baked me some because she knew I love homemade cookies! Again, they weren't nearly perfect, but it was really the thought that counted.
