A Real Resolution!
Every year I say that I am going to lose some weight, save more money, be a better person.... etc.
Tomorrow school opens. I have truly enjoyed this winter break, sleeping late, eating pancakes, playing with Barbies, Power Rangers, Digimons, Rumble Robots, and Biobugs. So now I am ready for my students, will have my coffee and grits in the morning and be pumped up and ready to go!!
So with all that I do and have done for 2001, I am just going to make ONE REAL RESOLUTION!!
Not that I won't try to keep the above usual New Year's Resolutions. I honestly will try but for the year 2002 --
I WILL GET MORE REST!!!

I will join you in that resolution. As a person that works with young students, I think that is part of the reason that I am sick quite often. Also, I need to eat some grits and coffee in the morning too. Anything is better than the nothing that I eat daily.

Another year Another Chance!!!
Each year I see myself making the same New Year's resolutions: lose weight, get a job teaching, and pay off my bills.
Well I was able to get a job teaching this school year, but my other resolutions were not carried out. I blame myself for not putting forth much effort.
SOOOOOOOOO!!! For the year of 2002, My New Year's resolution will be,to be happy, enjoy life, keep striving to be the best that I can be, and to gain a more closer relationship with God.
I return back to school tomorrow, the students return on Thursday. I will agree with you Sisterfriends and Soror about the rest. I will try the grits and coffee in the morning as well. LOL

Man, I haven't had grits in a while...
And I could just smell them after Bluereign's post. Oh well.
I think this year I am going to work on having the qualities that I like in other people, and being more patient and forgiving. I also want to do more for those less fortunate.
A few pounds would not be bad, either, especially since it is going to be HAWT in Florida this Summer.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
This year, my goal is to finally, finally, finish working on my first novel and to get enough strength to try and get it published. Yes, I'm a little scared, I'm an artist and I'm sensitive about my....
So I guess another goal will be for me to be less fearful of criticism.

Soror BlueReign, sorors, and sisterfriends,
I have to be very honest and say that I'm not going to make any real resolutions because like the others stated earlier, I didn't keep a one of them! I decided that for 2002 just to take it one day at a time and enjoy the precious moments of life.
I also have to say that I cried like a baby this morning when the alarm sounded because I didn't want to go back to that cold school building and be bothered by some of those high school students! However, my day went very well, thank the Lord, because most of them were pretty calm and ready to finish up their assigned projects!

Resolutions...
Happy New Year SoRHOrs and SisterFriends, I promised to fulfill at least two of my resolutions this year...The most important one is to build a stronger relationship with God...I haven't been going to church like I should lately... The next one will be to work on my procrastioning...I NEVER finish nor get anywhere on time...I FINALLY made it to work on time today...So that is a start..

My resolutions/mottos are....
My motto has been, still is, and always will be, "Don't talk about it, be about it. Otherwise, I could care less what you think!" May seem kinda rough, but I've just been tired of people who can talk the talk, but can't walk the walk. Two other statements that I like to keep in mind are, "Keep family and God first in your life, because you never know what could happen." and "Take everything one day at a time; whatever you're rushing to accomplish or get is not worth rushing for."
That's my ray of sunshine for now!! Until next time, people!!!
