what standards do you guys have set for nights of classic lore? my chapter has gotten away from doing them, and we're starting the degrees back up again. i'm just looking for some fair suggestions on how to decide. officerships, little bro's, etc...

I thought there was actual rules to be a KofCL. I thought it has to be a active brother that has been a member for three years and never has been inactive. Also they must no owe any money to the chapter.

yeah, you have to be a brother in good standing, but thats just basic criteria. the MQB can set more standards, like GPA, or how active a brother has been, or if he has done something significant to advance the fraternity or personify the ideals. i'm assuming that knights isn't for everyone and it is mark of distinction, not just another rituak to keep us busy. does anyone have another opinion?

Just staying active for 3 years and keeping your balance paid off is hard enough for most. I am a KofCL but alot of guys from my chapter are not because they were inactive for a semester for one reason or another. If you want to make it where one 3 or 4 guys a year earn that honor require a certain gpa and require that they have been an officer for at least two terms.
