I watched the race yesterday, and what started out to be an exciting Nationwide Series race ended up turning into disaster for people in the grandstands. A wheel and other debris from the crash went through the catchfence and hit people in the grandstands. Right now, NASCAR is saying it's too early to know how bad the injuries are. From what I've heard there was no serious injuries and everyone is recovering well. Still, it's pretty unsettling especially since I'm going to the NASCAR race in Phoenix this weekend...
