Mizzou Rush 2012

My daughter will be rushing this fall at Mizzou. She is an incoming freshman, a high GPA, and has all of her recommendations. She will be the first person in our family to go Greek, so she is keeping a very open mind and is not listening to any stereotypes.

Does anyone have any tips that would help her stand out and be remembered? Or just tips in general to help her during rush? Thanks in advance! This site has been a big help

I wish I did. My daughter is in the same situation at Auburn. Does she know current students in sororities at Mizzou? It might help that others know her already.

Unfortunately, she does not. I am cautiously optimistic that she will do well in recruitment as long as she keeps an open mind, but I just wish I could give her some tips that will help her stand out when there are over 1000 PNM's.

Best wishes to your daughter!

In regards to searching... it's sometimes better to go to Google, type your question, and include 'greekchat.com' in the search field. This usually brings back better results which more closely relate to what you're looking for.

Good luck!

Though it doesn't answer your specific question, this was a nice thread from last year: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/showthread.php?t=121286

(Of course, I'm biased by the ending.)

I started a recruitment story for my daughter, but will not be posting until after the week is over to help her remain anonymous
