Songs of Summer

My parents just bought a hot tub, and they like to listen to music when in it, whether they're by themselves, or they have other people over. My mom says (and yes, i agree with her) that my stepdad's iPod isn't filled with "good hot tub/party" music. I put together a playlist for her with songs I already had, but she's looking for even more fun, summery songs .. Or just fun songs in general. And it's hard to Google "summer songs" without getting just a bunch of songs that have the word "summer" in the name of the song.

It's hard to explain exactly what I'm looking for, so here's a sampling of what I have already. Any other suggestions? (keep in mind that my parents are in their 50s.. But they're not against listening to newer music, either)..

Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
Dynamite (acoustic) - Taio Cruz
The Lazy Song - Bruno Mars
More Than a Feeling - Boston
Mr. Jones - Counting Crows
Baba O'Riley - The Who
Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
Invisible Touch - Genesis
You Get What You Give - New Radicals
The Way You Make Me Feel - Michael Jackson
Hey, Soul Sister - Train
The Boys of Summer - Don Henley
Ants Marching - Dave Matthews Band
Upside Down - Jack Johnson

I can dig it.

The Isley Brother beat, Joe Cocker beat, and Roger Troutman (RIP) singing make for a very lazy summer day. Oh yeah, I also have love for Ice Cube and Tupac (RIP).

Summer isn't complete until I've heard the good (fast) version of Revolution (the Beatles).

A great summer song with "summer" in the title is the Lovin' Spoonful's "Summer in the City"--great beat and lyrics.

Also, "Drops of Jupiter" by Train has a sort of dreamy, summery vibe to it
