I'm just copying and pasting my first response:

Hey Soror,
I think a lot of the time people just seem to take the jokes too far and also let personal differences become organizational differences. How many times have you seen an issue between a member of ABC and a member of XYZ elevate so that the the two organizations have a rivalry? And then it goes on and on and the current members aren't even sure how the rivalry got started in the first place. It's nonsense!
I have friends who are in other organizations (Delta and AKA), and we always make little jokes about the other, but it never gets out of hand, and we all laugh.
I think a way to erradicate these differences is to have more interorganizational activities. It would be nice to do an activity with another sorority, even if it is something small. But it would be a show of unity and sisterhood.
We also need to support each other's events. In the end we are all in the same race to uplift our communities.

basically I must agree with Zeta ace, I have love for all of the nine, but I will play around with people that I know though and sometimes those who don't know us might take it as being disresepctful, but it's just playful horseplay

Animosity amongst BGLOs
Peace & Blessings to all
I realize that this situation is somewhat redundant but when are the sisterhoods and
the brotherhoods going to realize that this consistant animosity is, in a word,
unnecessary. In case you all haven't noticed, we are still at (perverbeal)war out there.
And, the more we divide ourselves, the easier we are to conquer. I have been a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc for 9yrs and have good friends throughout the
Divine 9 (My best friend is a Delta). We all have the same basic issues, triumphs and
defeats. Futhermore, when you boil it all down, we all stand for the same principles:
Sisterhood/Brotherhood, Community Service and Scholarship (along with our personalmottos).
Let's get it together folks! Our Founders didn't behave like this, so why are we?

I want to say that I have greek love for ALL organizations that are doing what they are suppose to do. If you are not, then you were wrong for pledging.
Keep your head up positive ZETA's, DELTA's, and SGRO's.
And SKEEEEEE-WEEEEEE to all of my positive sorors.

The part that I really dislike is that the animosity is also seen by GDI's and then they feel that its okay to disrespect orgs because of it. They hear what other orgs say...and go on with that to...the stereotypes also. You hear folks saying," Oh I would never be in that org because they are this or they are that." But in reality...THEY WOULD NEVER KNOW WHAT WE ARE! It just hurts some times to hear folks carry on like that...WHERE IS THE RESPECT FROM OTHER ORGS AND WELL AS GDI'S!?????

The one thing I find highly hypocritical about NPHC is that they profess love and unity, then at a party, these same folxs start fights because one org's member stepped on another members' foot, or bumped into them. What kinda bulljive is that?
I have seen it so many times, I could keep a personal chronicle of it, plus made $20 as a result of a NPHC fight (Long story how).

Its not hypocritical...its immature. And I would venture to say a vast number of the NPHC members on this board are a bit more seasoned than "fresh off the sands and you better not disrespect my organization in any shape or form or I am going to pop a cap in your behind new member."
You know Rain Man, I am starting to get a feeling "you startin to hate". For everyone of your "stories" I could tell you 5 more that would prove your generalization wrong.
If you "search" you will find many examples of the "Love" that is very much alive in the Divine Nine.
Thinking...must the NPHC always be under such scrutiny?

I was trying not to say that. But since you said it first, Finer Woman10-A-91, I definitely agree. I don't know what a NPHC organization has done to you recently, Rain Main, but let go and let God. And I'm not trying to be funny. It's one thing to have an opinion on something, but it seems like everything you've posted about NPHC organizations recently has been negative. It just seems like you want to start trouble. And it's weird, because you didn't seem the type to be so angry. And maybe even jealous ?!

Sweetie, that is NOT just the NPHC. I've seen PLENTY of fights in clubs between NON-NPHC MEMBERS, heck NON-GREEKS, over "you stepped on my toe" and "you bumped into me and didn't apologize" therefore your point is extremely MOOT.
RM, what is up with your anti-NPHC threads & comments lately? E-mail me & we'll talk.
