PKT - I think you should come over for dinner!
I cook for my roomates and friends a lot. All my recipes make too much food for just me to eat, and then they do the dishes for me, so it works out very well.
1. Pasta - any kind of pasta, throw in some sausage or hamburger, chunky veggies, fresh garlic and onions, spices. I usually take store bought marinara sauce and "doctor" it up a bit by throwing in all the spices I like. Then I just let it all simmer for awhile in my nice frying pan with the lid. I'm a big fan of any kind of cooking where I can throw a bunch of stuff together in a pot.
2. I have this french recipe but I don't know the name of it, mainly because my knowledge of French is limited to stammering out enough to find out if they speak English (or German). It's marvelously simple and has farfalle pasta, feta cheese, tuna, tomatoes, fresh basil, some other spices, olive oil. Sooooo yummy and tastes good hot or cold. Great leftovers!
3. I am the MASTER of brownies! Actually any kind of dessert, but I am the expert at undercooking brownies just enough so that they are nice and chewy but not still raw. It's an art form, better believe it!

Best mix from a box = Ghiradelli. Trust me, you can't go wrong with that stuff.
