Get ready Texas - the Hawkeyes are invading the Alamo 
On Saturday, Dec. 29, at 2:30 p.m. Iowa will face a to be determined Big 12 opponent inside the 65,000-seat Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas!
Get even more excited, because I might be there, lol
A bunch of us are considering experiencing a once in a lifetime opportunity (lol) for the Hawkeyes and partying it up in Texas for a few days!
Who else is heading to a bowl game?

I'll definitely be headed wherever LSU goes. I know that a few of my sisters and I will make one hell of a road trip out of wherever they go. Honestly...I'd love for the Tigers to go to the Cotton Bowl over the Sugar Bowl. I'd love to go back to Dallas. Hey...prospectiverushee if we make it to the Cotton Bowl...you and I need to meet up and party!!!!!!!!!

I hope they play A&M. That would make it just 1.5 hrs away for me to travel for a bowl game plus a free place to stay-my mom's. I don't think we have played Iowa in a bowl game before. Did we play in the regular season? I can't remember

One thing we Texans wont tolerate is ANY Alamo cracks....
J/K, I know you were joking. To anyone who comes, you'll get the chance to party with me, lifesaver! The game is here in SA, and I'll take anyone on GC who comes in town for the game out for a great time in SA. See the sights, not just the tourist ones, and have a blast. Hey, Iowa State will play Independence Bowl in Shreveport, LA on Dec 27 also ...
IowaHawkeye, we just did our Dance Marathon, and we collected $125,000! That is $5,000 more than last year

Actually dude - i might be going down for the game too, according to a friend of mine from u of i - she basically has informed me that her father will pay for me to go down there.

Wow! so many greekchatters will be at the same place at the same time... makes me want to drive up to San Antonio to meet up with you guys as well. Even if i dont make it over there, you guys that will be there should DEFINITELY meet up.... that would be sooo cool!!
