The San Francisco Bay Area Council of the NPHC is proud to bring you Umoja 2001 - Step Show Competition and Expo. For over 15 years, the SF Bay Area NPHC has presented family oriented step shows. This year, Umoja 2001 will be held on December 1, 2001 at 7:30pm at Oakland Technical High School at 4351 Broadway Street in Oakland. Not just a step show, Umoja 2001 will feature college, high school and community step teams, youth oriented community groups, college recruiters, vendors and more.

Umoja 2001 is being held at a grade school because that is where the educational process begins. Children are our future, so we are taking the message that success and achievement are possible through higher education directly to them on their own ground. Adult tickets are $15.00 at the door. Child tickets are $5.00. Proceeds will go to benefit the SF Bay Area NPHC scholarship and community outreach activities.
