Here's an interesting article from 12/01/2011's New York Times, titled "For Women Only; Wear Your Sorority Pin".

It's about the Panhellenic House, originally built in 1928 at First Avenue and 49th Street. Emily Hepburn had the Art Deco structure built as a residence for college women. It's now the Beekman Tower Hotel.

Ms. Hepburn was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
