Trusting someone and being betrayed for it.

Watching people I care about either die or grow apart from me.

Loving someone, having it build up your world only to have it come crashing down when it doesn't workout.

Coming face to face with the reality that my kids are most likely going to grow up in a more confusing, violent, fucked up world than I did.
