Smile Christmas!

OK, now that it's November I think I can ask...

1. Has anybody started Christmas shopping yet?

2. What ONE item do you want most for Christmas this year?

3. What are you getting for your Significant Other?

My answers would be....

1. You MUST be kidding....I haven't even really thought about it yet!

2. I never give this a lot of thought until the last minute, but I think I would like a crown pearl AXO lavaliere...anybody know where hubby could get one of these (he needs all the help he can get here lol!)?

3. ...And I definitely don't have a clue what to get for him! Hopefully I'll get some ideas if anybody posts a reply here!

1. The thought has crossed my mind but I haven't placed my foot in a mall yet for the sole purpose of Christmas shopping

2. Have to get back to you on that one

3. See number 2 - however I had thought about getting my b/f a copy of the David Letterman bio "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi"...

1. no way have I started shopping. It would be too early. I have this thing that only allows me to shop a week in advance.

2. Hunny is getting me Shrek, Legally Blond, and a RUBIX Cube... I love that boy.

3. I have no clue what to buy Hunny. I am all out of ideas. God only knows what he'll wind up with.

My boyfriend always does his Christmas shopping wicked early. He already knows what he's getting everyone - he just has to go get it and pay for it. That really annoys me that he's so organized. My little brother turns 21 in a couple of weeks and I haven't even bought his present yet!

Smile

1.) Just recently (as in.. this week) started thinking about it. I'm not a shopper, so it takes a lot of motivation for me to go out and do it. And, I'm a picky shopper when you get me in the store. I won't settle for less than the perfect gift for anyone. (Incidentally, by boyfriend is also psychotically early with his shopping... he's been done since August. He starts around May.)

2.)I hate deciding what I "want" for XMas. I am trying to get rid of most of the things that clutter up my apartment. Minus books, CDs & DVDs-my 3 addictions . I was actually considering giving my family a list of charities (including my GLOs fund) to donate to in my name as my gift(s). Although I do want a few small pieces of luggage, as I travel quite a bit.

3.)Definately a camera... a nice small compact one with a zoom lens. (He mentioned recently that he wanted one, which makes my job a lot easier). He will also get Best Buy giftcards. The man owns countless CDs.

**Speaking of Best Buy giftcards... I think gift cards are one of the greatest developments of modern technology. My family all exchanges them (usually the same stores!).. they're easy and inexpensive to mail. You have a year (or more) to wait and find something you really like. **

Well, a few years ago my monster-in-law got me....a pair of running shoes. And she had NO idea what size I wore - NO idea whatsoever; she didn't even ask my husband....

Of course they didn't fit, and...she didn't bother keeping the receipt, so I couldn't exchange them or get a refund...but hey, whatever....
