Right Ladybug. Be sure the channel WB is on in your area is programmed into your VCR. This is for "cable ready" VCR's.
If you're recording through a cable box, be sure the VCR is on the correct channel -- usually three or four -- and that the correct channel is chosen on the cable box.
Also, be sure the VCR is set up to record cable -- as opposed to another input.
If that doesn't help, find some really bright, good looking young man who understands these things and invite him over to help.
