Unhappy My VCR doesn't tape some channels??

This fall, I've been taping all the TV shows that I watch b/c I don't have time to watch them when they show. I was trying to tape the WB, but my VCR, I guess couldn't do so?? When I was watching my tapes, all I got was a blank screen. But I can tape NBC and FOX fine. Strange!! Can anyone help?

Thanks!

You may need to be sure that WB is programmed into your VCR as a recognizable channel. If there was a power outage then programmed channels get erased and you have to reset them (at least that's how it is on mine). Or check to see if you have it set on TV or CATV...sometimes this makes a difference too. Hope this helps

Right Ladybug. Be sure the channel WB is on in your area is programmed into your VCR. This is for "cable ready" VCR's.

If you're recording through a cable box, be sure the VCR is on the correct channel -- usually three or four -- and that the correct channel is chosen on the cable box.

Also, be sure the VCR is set up to record cable -- as opposed to another input.

If that doesn't help, find some really bright, good looking young man who understands these things and invite him over to help.
