AKA Dawn Y. Reddick- Rest in Peace

Sorry for the lane swerve but I've been sitting here crying and reading about Dawn, and I wanted to share the story with others.

Dawn Y. Reddick, a teacher in Charlottesville VA, was visiting her native Newark NJ this past weekend when she was fatally shot while stopping for some takeout. Dawn's shooting was a random, stupid act by a person/people still at large. She was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Some in her family/friends say she was shielding another victim at the scene, a 7 year old girl, with her own body. If this is true it speaks volumes about the type of youg lady she was and what an enormous loss her death brings to all.
