Yep, we got 4 inches here - with more coming down and a second storm expected tonight. With sleet.
And yet, the office is open. I'm one of three in my department who wandered in - the rest are working from home.
What snow day?

What? No fair. There is nothing outside my window but straight up ice. My car is frozen shut.

My office is closed for the day. Woohoo! I was surprised considering that they didn't close last year when that snow/ice storm came through. We may even be closed tomorrow too. I'm so excited. Now my pregnant butt can stay home in sweat pants and a sweat shirt instead of trying to find something to wear to work that actually still fits!

We've got a couple inches, and it's still coming down. It's just me (and the boss' son) in the office today.
My huband called to tell me that the kids wanted to play out in the snow...he wanted to know if he should let them. LOL.

Problem with going INTO work is that you have to go OUT of work.
Be careful!!

No kidding - my boss (who didn't make it in) has suggested I leave around 12:30 and work my afternoon from the house (I have a big conference call I can't ditch). My husband's employer is notoriously douchey and they are docking people who don't come in today with taking vacation. Of course, none of his management team has arrived yet. Go fig.

We got a lot of rain and a little bit of snow yesterday, so a lot of the roads are iced over here. One of my frat brothers lives in downtown Dallas and started posting pictures on t_witter of people getting in wrecks and sliding. That's one of the things I hate about living here -- no matter what the weather is like, people will still speed.
I didn't risk it. I'm working from home today.

We are at 8 inches and it is still coming down. My husband has a job that he has to report for, so he left early this morning and just got home. He said the roads are far worse now than when he left at 6 this morning.
The kids played outside for awhile, but since they are 4 and 2, it was almost too deep for them. They just couldn't get good footing and the snow was too dry for snowmen or snowballs. So we are in by the fire, kids are napping, and hoping that it doesn't get too bad so that my husband can get back to work tomorrow.

There are some serious college- and high school-boy snow battles out front, maybe our yard will be the only one without snow? But--they're not anywhere near the bottom of the snow yet.

I probably could have gotten away with not coming in to work today. We were given the option based on if we felt it was safe to drive. I had hubby bring me in, because I didnt want my stuff to pile up. Half the office is out today. Blegh.

We got about 8 inches in Oxford! Everything is closed today which is great! I love snow days! This is the most snow I've ever seen in MS. So pretty!

There's still absolutely no snow here...mostly just rain. I'm sure it'll turn to ice again tonight but right now I feel cheated because there's nothing to do until the game starts tonight even though I can drive since a lot of places are closed for the day.

None here either. I'd kill to be in Oxford or Starkville right now. All the pictures of the snow is making me jealous. We just got slush and it melted before any of us were awake.
